For sale is my Chord Hugo TT2 from 2023.

The TT2 is in excellent condition and comes complete with its original packaging and accessories.

The Hugo TT2 combines a high-end DAC, headphone amplifier and preamplifier in one unit and, in my opinion, remains one of the strongest products Chord has produced. Particularly as a DAC/headphone amplifier, it is an extremely versatile component.

I am selling the TT2 due to a change and further simplification of my audio system.

Farad Super6 – September 2025

For those who want to take the TT2 considerably further, I can also offer my Farad Super6 linear power supply.

I have used the TT2 extensively with both its standard power supply and the Farad. In my system, the Super6 takes the TT2 to a genuinely different level. To my ears, the presentation with the Farad is no longer really comparable to what I get from the standard power supply.

The Super6 is the 15V version, suitable for use with the Chord Hugo TT2, and is supplied with a Farad Level 2 DC cable.

Free endgrain platform with combination purchase

When purchasing the TT2 together with either the Farad Super3 or Super6, I will include my handmade solid-oak endgrain platform at no additional cost.

The platform is constructed from solid oak endgrain and was specifically used as a mechanical foundation for the TT2.

The endgrain construction creates a very different mechanical structure compared with a conventional solid-wood platform. A mixture of gemstones has also been incorporated underneath the connection area, with the intention of further reducing unwanted mechanical and electromagnetic influences.

In my own system, I found the TT2 surprisingly sensitive to its mechanical support. With this platform underneath the TT2, I heard a clear improvement in calmness and focus, with instruments and voices becoming more stable and precisely positioned within the soundstage.

Please note that the platform is supplied without the feet that may be visible in the photographs.

The combination of the TT2, Farad Super6 and endgrain platform ultimately became my preferred way of using the TT2. For me, the combination of the upgraded power supply and mechanical support clearly moved the DAC to a higher level.
